Tailored Onsite Training in Natolin - 1st edition

The 1st edition of the Tailored Onsite Knowledge and Analytical Skills Programme took place from 9 June to 25 July 2025 at the College of Europe in Natolin and was dedicated to the Fundamentals cluster. During the six-week programme, participants examined key aspects of the EU accession process, including the functioning of EU institutions, the EU legal and governance framework, policy harmonisation, and the negotiation process related to EU membership.
The group included nine representatives from several Ukrainian public institutions: the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine.
As part of the programme, participants took part in institutional group visits in Warsaw. Meetings were held with experts from the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex).
The programme also included a study visit to Łódź focused on regional development and the implementation of EU policies at the regional level. Participants met with representatives of the Łódź Regional Development Agency, the European Institute in Łódź, and the Marshal’s Office of the Łódzkie Region. Discussions covered regional business support instruments, education and social programmes, and the region’s plans for the transition to green energy by 2040.
